Details	Canoe-polo is a ball game between teams of 5 in which players board canoes (1 per person) and compete. The name comes from the original polo game with horses. In Awara Town, the first competition was held in 1990. It has become one of the biggest competitions in Japan: each year over 80 teams from all over Japan participate and put up a tough fight. カヌーポロは、１人１艇のカヌーに乗って５人対５人で点数を競う球技です。カヌーをポロ競技の馬に見立てたことから、この名称が付けられました。芦原町では平成２年に第１回の大会が開催され、毎年全国から８０チーム余り参加して熱戦を繰り広げる国内最大規模の大会になりました

Details	The athletic competition with fish is hands-on experience in a pool where people can catch fish such as yellowtail, sea bream, horse mackerel, etc., which are released to the village-operated seawater pool.
