Many of the artificial leathers which are widely used in various products are made from polyurethane resin in which organic solvent is used. As the result, problems such as VOC and Sick Building Syndrome arise, and people start to seek for artificial leather which are made from water-based polyurethane resin because of such environmental concerns. 　Making full use of our unique resin synthesis technology and surface science, we succeeded in developing environmentally friendly water based polyurethane resin in which organic solvent is not used. It is of the same functionality with the conventional product in terms of the quality, strength, durability and dyeability which are required by artificial leather manufacturers.
