We developed and manufactured the first thin-model lens in the world with high refractive index in 1987, followed by the development of the first ultra-thin lens in the world with improved refractive index in 1994 as well, when we were awarded the honor as the first Japanese lens manufacturer to be conferred the Award Of Excellence by the Optical Laboratories Association in the United States given to the most excellent lens manufacturer of the year. We also supply various type of 1.74 ultra Hi-Index lenses to the world.
