We developed a support mat for use in natural disasters which enables evacuees to rest and sleep comfortably at shelters etc.
Foamed polyethylene, which excels in buffering capacity, is used as the buffer material. It has high heat-retention effect which protects disaster victims from being adversely affected by cold, hard floor. In addition, its antibacterial and deodorant properties keep the mat surface extremely clean. It can also be used not only as a float on the water but as a stretcher for carrying people. In ordinary times, it can be folded neatly and stored without taking up much space.

災害が起こった際に、避難所などで被災者が快適に眠ることができる防災マットを開発しました。クッション素材には緩衝性に優れた発泡ポリエチレンを使用しており、保温効果も高く、冷たく硬い床から被災者を守ります。また、抗菌・防臭加工を施してあるため、とても清潔です。水に浮かべれば浮き具としても使用でき、また搬送用の担架として使用することも可能です。平常時はコンパクトに折りたたんで、省スペースで保管することができます。
